Edutainment Zone – Rio Grande City is our founding location, proudly serving families since August 2021. As one of the most trusted licensed child care centers in the city, this center offers a nurturing, educational environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Located on South San Antonio Street near Main Street, our center is easy to access for families in downtown Rio Grande City and surrounding neighborhoods. We are licensed by the State of Texas to serve up to 113 children, with programs designed to support each child’s growth—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our Rio Grande City location features a projector room for interactive learning and a one-of-a-kind play-pretend city, where children explore real-world roles through imaginative play. Edutainment City includes a theater, market, fire station, veterinary clinic, and other engaging spaces that spark creativity and build social skills.
We offer full-time care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, with flexible hours, CCS subsidy acceptance, and transportation to nearby schools. With a focus on Spanish immersion, play-based learning, and a warm, family-like atmosphere, Edutainment Zone – Rio Grande City remains a top choice for early education in the lower Rio Grande Valley.

Our Early Learning Programs
We provide licensed early learning programs tailored to each child’s developmental stage. All age groups follow a research-based curriculum that builds a strong foundation in language, math, sensory learning, and social-emotional development.
Infants (6 weeks – 17 months): Nurturing, responsive care that supports early brain development and strong emotional bonds.
Toddlers (18 months – 2.5 years): Daily routines that build independence, promote communication, and encourage social-emotional growth.
Preschool (ages 3–4): Hands-on, bilingual instruction in math, literacy, science, and art to foster kindergarten readiness.
Pre-K 3 & Pre-K 4: A structured and creative environment focused on early academics, self-regulation, and problem-solving through play.
