About Us
The Edutainment Zone opened its doors in 2021 in Rio Grande City with a mission to provide a high-quality, play-based early learning program that nurtures the individual skills of each child. Since then, we have expanded to serve families across the region with additional centers in Roma, Mission, and La Plaza Mall in McAllen.
We serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, offering a safe, engaging, and imaginative environment that supports creativity, social development, and academic growth. Our centers are designed to inspire exploration and learning through themed play spaces, interactive rooms, and specialized activities.
At The Edutainment Zone, we follow a research-based early learning curriculum that nurtures your child's curiosity and development. Children build friendships, learn to express their emotions, and develop essential social skills. They explore specialized resources like books, science tools, art materials, games, and math manipulatives to encourage creative thinking and problem-solving.
Our daily routines and activities are designed to support brain development, helping children build the self-regulation needed for long-term school success. We are committed to creating environments where children can thrive and reach their fullest potential.
Full-Time Programs
We offer structured full-time programs operating from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the option to extend until 8:00 PM at certain locations. Our program follows a research-based curriculum that nurtures each child’s curiosity and development through age-appropriate learning activities, social interaction, and creative exploration. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided throughout the day.
Drop-In Care
For families needing flexibility, we offer drop-in care available per day. Our weekend hours align with La Plaza Mall’s schedule, providing convenient options for parents who need care outside of regular weekday hours.
Convenient Pick-Ups & Drop-Offs
For busy parents, our back door pick-up and drop-off service at La Plaza Mall allows for hassle-free arrivals and departures without having to leave your vehicle.
After-School Transportation & Camps
For added convenience, we offer after-school transportation from select schools to our centers. We also provide seasonal programs including Summer Camps, Holiday Camps, and Special Events to keep children engaged and learning throughout the year.
